Margaret Benefiel wrote her first book, Soul at Work: Spiritual Leadership in Organizations, as a business card, to showcase her consulting services to corporations. on the overlay between business and spirituality.  Fern worked with Margaret to:

• Navigate through the book publishing process
• Promote Margaret's speaking to businesses and churches worldwide
• Publicize the book through a variety of means

After a very successful first book campaign, Margaret wrote a second book, The Soul of a Leader: Finding Your Path to Success and Fulfilment, which Fern also publicized. 

Margaret went on to serve as Executive Director at the  Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation at the Catholicy University of America.  Over 2,000 executives, managers, and leaders have participated in Margaret's seminars and courses that resulted from the books.
