Aveda Cosmetics

Fern was approached by international cosmetics empire Aveda Cosmetics corporate CEO Horst Rechelbacher. to strengthen the Aveda brand name and position Rechelbacher more solidly to the American public.  Over the course of a six-figure and six-month project, Fern consulted with Aveda to:

  • Lead a 15-person Aveda team to publish and promote Rechelbacher's branding book
  • Oversee all aspects of the book's creation and  production, from writing and editing to design and distribution
  • Ensure that the book was properly publicized, including a coveted mention in prominent business publication,  Forbes Magazine

In part as a result of her work, Aveda Cosmetics eventually sold for $300 million to Estee Lauder.
